I’m a frontend engineer who mixes business, design, and tech to build tools that work well and look great. I’ve taken on art director duties in most roles (except 3Commas), focusing on creating visuals I’d want to use myself. I love collaborating with teams, whether it’s working with business folks or tackling hackathons—I’ve joined 3 and won 1, solving challenges like keyless access with BLE and CV monitoring with neural nets. I’m also into generative art, exploring ordered chaos with Canvas Sketch and Nannou, inspired by Tyler Hobbs’ procedural work.
I studied geophysics, learning to analyze complex systems and data—a foundation that still shapes how I approach tech problems. I’m also self-taught in coding since 2017, starting with ricing Linux distros like Void Linux to hone design and scripting, then leveling up with CS50 (Python, C, JS) and years of project-based grinding to master frontend dev.
At 3Commas.io, a top cloud-based crypto trading platform, I built and led frontend systems end-to-end. I coded a scalable, typed UI-kit from scratch (just styled-components, no other libs), set up its docs portal, and synced design tokens from Figma to code for consistent theming. I maintained our component monorepo, reviewed designs, and shaped the design system process. Later, I led frontend dev for 3Commas for Asset Managers, merging design, product, and engineering to ship a platform for automated crypto trading—think bulk automation and secure onboarding on exchanges like Binance and Coinbase. I also optimized infra and landing pages, handled billing systems, led code reviews, and delivered sprints on time.
At RushDB (formerly Collect), an open-source, graph-powered database on Neo4j, I shaped the frontend from the ground up. I built a responsive app to interact with RushDB’s features—think data visualization and query management—plus custom libraries for scalability, no external deps needed. I designed the architecture to play nice with our REST API and TypeScript SDKs, keeping it fast and dev-friendly. I also crafted landing pages to pull in SaaS devs and AI innovators, set up the billing interface for RushDB Cloud’s free and paid tiers, and designed a clean UI/UX for navigating complex graph data. This work made RushDB a go-to for devs, letting teams build features while the database handled the heavy lifting.
At Sirin, a startup using neural networks for keyless access via video recognition, I helped build the company from the ground up. I set up the team, planned sprints, made tech calls, and shaped the architecture for a cloud-based video surveillance platform—using Next.js, React-Query, and Vercel for CI/CD, with a custom HLS player for camera archives. I also designed the company logo, built pitch visuals to secure funding, and applied for grants to fuel growth, while leading dev on a Flutter app for subscribers to view RTMP streams and open doors remotely. My work helped Sirin eliminate keys and badges, making access seamless for users.
At Sputnik Systems, an IoT intercom company, I led frontend dev to build one of Eastern Europe’s largest remote intercom platforms, scaling to 300k daily active users. I shaped the architecture, set up a design system from scratch, and created UI/UX with custom visuals, ensuring a seamless, accessible experience for a massive user base. I also drove the company’s branding, crafting a consistent visual identity across products, and contributed to the mobile app and cloud management system’s design. My work made intercom control intuitive for users while keeping the tech solid at scale.
